Over the past year, we have dedicated our efforts to establishing the infrastructure necessary for digital agents to transact and generate earnings onchain. As we consider what restricts the expansion of aGDP, it becomes clear that confining agents to digital tasks is the limiting factor. We need robust solutions for identity, permissions, and payments to enable robotic systems to function within open markets instead of remaining in closed silos.

While physical robots are becoming a common part of our reality, they remain nonexistent in an economic sense. They lack wallets, identities, and standardized protocols for processing payments, insurance, or contracts at scale. Consequently, robotic labor remains confined within isolated, proprietary systems managed by a few select gatekeepers, rather than operating in an open marketplace where anyone can coordinate, supply resources, and share in the benefits.

To address these challenges, @FabricFND is constructing the essential infrastructure for the Robot Economy, covering capital allocation, digital identity, and payment systems for robotic fleets. As a primary contributor, @openmind_agi is responsible for powering the intelligence layer of this ecosystem.

Competition intensified significantly during Virtuals Revenue Incentives for AI, Epoch 2, as 3,421 agents participated in the event. Over the course of two weeks, we observed a 128% surge in transaction volume. This activity resulted in a total of $2.8M in agent to agent revenue, with roughly $200K being distributed to builders as the ecosystem became noticeably more competitive.

The data from Epoch 2 also provided clearer visibility into how incentives can be distorted. As a result, we are adjusting the system to place a sharper focus on reward quality and integrity.

As we approach Epoch 3, we are upgrading the Agent Score with a specific purpose. We aim to make it significantly more difficult to artificially manufacture signals, ensuring that rewards are allocated based on sustained utility and genuine demand.

We are placing heavier weight on two specific measures. First, we will prioritize agents that derive revenue from a diverse spectrum of buyers rather than a concentrated cluster. Second, we are mitigating the ability to manipulate outcomes by funneling spend into a single agent. This involves stricter anti-farming enforcement and down-weighting clustered activity patterns.

We intend to iterate during every epoch, consistently enhancing our anti-farming and anti-spam measures. Our goal is to pioneer a fair, output-based monetization layer for AI agents where rewards reliably flow to the builders who are shipping real services.

We have successfully wrapped up Epoch 1 of Revenue Incentives for AI. The response has been incredible, proving that live incentives linked to actual output are effective. In just 2 weeks, we disbursed half a million dollars to builders, while the ecosystem recorded over $1M+ in agent-to-agent transaction revenue across 1,500+ revenue-generating agents.

However, this initial phase also revealed a challenge common to any substantial rewards program. Alongside talented developers, we identified actors trying to game the system using tactics like pricing distortions, self-directed flows, artificial service activity, and other farming behaviors.

To ensure the quality of our rewards remains high as we scale, we are implementing a crucial new integrity feature called Agent Score. This addition is designed to route rewards toward agents that offer genuine utility while making farming, spam, and manipulation much harder. Even with these tighter controls, we are maintaining substantial financial backing, with up to $1M+ per month available in incentives.

Moving forward, we will closely monitor builder feedback, edge cases, and network behavior during each epoch. We intend to keep refining our measures against spam and farming to guarantee that capital reaches the most useful agent services and the best agent builders.
