Embodied AI represents the next frontier for our ecosystem. Over the past year, we have dedicated our efforts to establishing the infrastructure necessary for digital agents to transact and generate earnings onchain. The results have been promising, with more than 18,000+ agents deployed, generating over $470M+ in cumulative economic output. Furthermore, agent-to-agent commerce exceeded $3M+ in the last month alone.

As we consider what restricts the expansion of aGDP, it becomes clear that confining agents to digital tasks is the limiting factor. To achieve compound growth comparable to the broader economy, agents must establish a presence in the physical world. While robotics hardware is improving at a rapid pace, coordination remains the primary obstacle. We need robust solutions for identity, permissions, and payments to enable robotic systems to function within open markets instead of remaining in closed silos.

We are now prepared to expand our infrastructure to support embodied AI, and we are looking for the right builders to help us achieve this. We are pleased to announce that applications for @base Batches 003: Robotics are now open. We are actively funding teams dedicated to robotics, robot-to-agent commerce, fleet coordination, and robot data pipelines. Successful applicants will receive mentorship, funding of up to $50K, and the opportunity to present at our Demo Day in San Francisco.
