Complexity always exists somewhere in a system. The question is where it lives. Many storage solutions push complexity upward, forcing applications to handle edge cases and failures. The protocol pulls that complexity downward into infrastructure. Recovery, redundancy, and availability guarantees are handled at the system level. This allows applications to remain simpler and more focused on user logic. For builders, this reduces development overhead and long-term maintenance risk. Mature infrastructure absorbs complexity so applications do not have to reinvent reliability mechanisms repeatedly.
