Morgan Stanley 26-Year Veteran Departed, While Concurrently Recruiting Citi and Goldman Sachs Heavyweights
On June 10, Morgan Stanley's Co-Head of Global Infrastructure and Strategic Investors Group, Guillermo Baygual, is set to leave the bank after 26 years of service. Morgan Stanley has also made other personnel recruitments recently. Sources said last month that the bank would hire Citi Group trader Theodoros Giatrakos to join its London financial sponsors team. According to an internal memo from last week, the bank also hired Fredrik Weege from Goldman Sachs to lead its financial sponsors team in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
