Recently I’ve been studying market structure and put together some learning notes to share with others who are on the same journey. 📝
🧐 Some Observations About Market Volatility
Many times we feel like the market is “targeting us.” In reality, there are often structural reasons behind price movements.
$B2 1️⃣ About Price Swings
Price often sweeps a cluster of stop-loss orders before reversing. This isn’t personal — it’s about liquidity.
Areas where stops accumulate naturally become liquidity pools. And liquidity is what drives movement.
$NVDAon BNB2️⃣ About False Breakouts
Sometimes a breakout is the start of a real trend. Other times, it’s just a liquidity grab or leverage cleanup.
To distinguish between the two, it’s important to zoom out and look at higher timeframes.
Strength on a lower timeframe doesn’t always mean continuation on the larger structure.
3️⃣ About Entry Locations
Large capital often pays attention to key technical zones, such as:
The 0.618–0.79 retracement area
Confluence with gaps, previous highs/lows, or structural levels
There’s nothing mysterious about this. It’s simply layered technical logic.
4️⃣ About Consolidation
Sideways markets test patience. Most traders lose conviction during these phases.
But often, major moves are born right after “boring” price action.
