A questo punto, la cosiddetta pista AI decentralizzata ha la maggior parte dei progetti ancora impegnati nel basso interesse per la rivendita della potenza di calcolo, con pochissimi che toccano veramente il nucleo della privacy dei dati e della computazione verificabile. Dopo aver attraversato l'ambiente di test di Fabric, ho scoperto che il loro tentativo di costruire questa logica utilizzando MPC e ZKP è molto più interessante che semplicemente accumulare GPU come Render o seguire il percorso del gioco di consenso di Bittensor. Il punto critico di Bittensor risiede nei costi di verifica elevati; spesso, le risorse consumate per verificare un risultato di inferenza superano la computazione stessa. Questo tipo di logica, “scrivere dieci volte i compiti solo per dimostrare che ho fatto i miei compiti,” è difficile da implementare nell'industria. Fabric, d'altra parte, tenta di lavorare a livello hardware, e questo approccio integrato colpisce davvero il tallone d'Achille della attuale privatizzazione dei grandi modelli.
