#USStablecoinBill New draft law that could establish federal oversight of stablecoin issuers and set the regulatory framework for issuing and trading stablecoins did not receive support from all congressmen.

Nine of them either immediately blocked the so-called Senate Genius Act, or withdrew their support, despite previously expressing positive views.

Both Democrats and Republicans are protesting and refusing to accept this law.
