Since Binance Square started its Write to Earn Promotion its rewards and eligibility have been upgraded, but subject to the same terms and conditions. Starting from 2026-02-02, ‘Write to Earn’ Promotion is available to all KYC-verified users —no registration or opt-in required! 

Eligible content creators can earn up to 50% trading fee commission rewards for creating posts on Binance Square. Read on to learn more about this content monetization program.

1. What is the Binance Square “Write to Earn”?

The Write to Earn Promotion rewards Binance Square creators who post qualified content on the Square platform. Such ceators have the opportunity to earn up to 50% trading fee commissions from their readers' qualified Spot, Margin, Futures and/or Convert trade(s).

2. Who is eligible to participate in this promotion?

All users who complete identity verification (KYC) for their Binance account are automatically eligible after making their first post on Binance Square. No opt-in or registration is needed.

3. How to participate in the promotion?

To participate in the “Write to Earn” promotion, follow these steps: 

• Publish qualified content pieces on Binance Square with any of coin cashtags (e.g., $BTC) or trading widgets in your content. 
  Note: All content types qualify — Short posts, long articles, videos, live streams, chats—any qualified content counts.
• When regular and VIP 1 - 2 readers click any of coin cashtags (e.g., $BTC) or trading widgets in your content (as shown in the screenshot below), and complete a qualified trade directly afterward, you can earn up to 50% in trading fee commissions*.

Note: Applies to *Spot, Margin, Futures (excluding copy trading) and Convert trade(s) (only Convert Instant orders).

4. What type of content counts as qualified?

Qualified content types: Short posts, long articles, videos, live streams or chats published organically on Binance Square.

Following content pieces will not qualify the creators for any commission rewards from this Promotion:

• Content pieces contain Quiz Red Packets
• Spam, or low quality content.
• Published content pieces that are deleted during the weekly settlement cycle.

5. What type of trades count as qualified?

Only eligible trades executed directly after clicking the coin cashtags (e.g., $BTC) or trading widgets in your content will be counted.

Note:

• This applies to regular and VIP 1-2 readers.
• Eligible trades include *Spot, Margin, Futures (excluding copy trading), and Convert trades (only Convert Instant orders).

Trades will not be considered qualified if any of the following occur:

• Trades placed without clicking any of the coin cashtags (e.g., $BTC)  or trading widgets.
• Orders placed more than 1 minute after clicking any coin cashtags or trading widgets.
• Abnormal frequent-click behavior, which will lead to disqualification.

6. How can I optimize my content to maximize rewards?

To earn more rewards, try these tips:

• Link your real trades with verified trade sharing cards
  • Connect your actual trades to your posts to improve credibility more than simple screenshots.

• Add trading widgets to enhance engagement
  • Add a coin cashtag (e.g., $BTC) to improve navigation and clarity.

• Please note: You can add a maximum of 3 coin cashtags in each post.
  • Embed candlestick chart widgets to visually explain real-time market trends and support your analysis.
  • Mention trending coins; the system may automatically detect and highlight them.

• Leverage Multimedia Formats
  • Use audio lives to share live trading strategies and sync your trades so readers can copy your positions in real time.

• Upgrade your profile for credibility
  • Trader Profile: Showcase your overall account PnL %, portfolio allocation, and trading badges to highlight your performance without revealing sensitive details.

• Live Futures Profile: Share your full Futures Account performance live, including ROI, PNL, open positions, and recent trades, to boost transparency and trust.

7. How is the commission structured?

• Basic commission: Every eligible creator receives a 20% commission. This commission is one-time per trade.
• Bonus commission: At the end of each week, Binance will rank all eligible creators based on the basic commission they earn, where the top 100 eligible creators of the week can earn a bonus commission as per the table below.

Please note: 

• The bonus commission is calculated and settled weekly. Each week runs from Monday 00:00 (UTC) to Sunday 23:59 (UTC).
• Weekly commission rewards will only be distributed to users when its value is ≥ 0.1 USDC.
• Each week’s bonus commission is calculated independently and does not affect the following week's commission.

Example: 

• User A ranked second during Week 1 (2025-10-27 to 2025-11-02). On top of the 20% basic commission, they will receive an extra 30% commission for Week 1, with a total of 50% commission.
• User A ranked 101 during Week 2 (2025-11-03 to 2024-11-09). As they are not ranked on the top 1 - 100, they will only receive the 20% basic commission and no extra bonus commission for Week 2.

8. How is my reward calculated?

Your reward for each eligible trade is calculated as follows:

Reward = Net trading fee generated by qualified trades from your readers * Your commission rate

• Commission Rate: This includes a fixed basic commission of 20% plus any applicable bonus commission (up to 30%) based on your weekly ranking.
• Commissions are calculated on a per-trade basis and aggregated weekly.

Important details on fee calculation:

• The final commission will be calculated based on the actual net trading fees incurred (excluding referral commission, VIP discounts, trading fee discounts when using BNB, API broker rebates, and other fee discounts).
• Users will not receive commissions from trades if any of the following conditions are met:
  • Trades made by users who signed up via referral codes/links (including Referral Lite and Pro).
  • Trades involving trading pairs that do not incur trading fees.
  • Trades executed by market makers or brokers.
  • API trades.
  • Trades from stablecoin to stablecoin.
  • Other conditions that trigger non-commissionable criteria.
• As there is zero trading fee for Convert trading, we will use an estimated fee rate of 0.1% of the trading volume to calculate the Convert trading fee commissions in this campaign.
• The current commission does not affect users’ referral commission. You will continue to earn referral commissions from users who register via your referral code or link as usual.

9. When and how are rewards distributed?

Binance will calculate the commission rewards at the end of each week, with the rewards distributed in USDC to qualified participants' Funding Accounts by the following Thursday at 23:59 (UTC). 

You may view the distribution records from [Assets] - [Funding] - [Transaction History] - [Pay]. 

Please note: 

• Rewards will only be distributed if the weekly earned commission value is at least 0.1 USDC. The weekly commission rewards will be reset to zero at the end of each week if it's less than 0.1 USDC.
• Each week runs from Monday, 00:00 (UTC) to Sunday, 23:59 (UTC). Each day runs from 00:00 (UTC) to 23:59 (UTC).

10. How can I track my rewards and performance?

If your content generates any commission on a given day, you will receive a Square Assistant notification the next day with the detailed amount. Please note that rewards will be distributed on a weekly basis, by the following Thursday at 23:59 (UTC).

Once you accumulate at least 0.1 USDC of commission rewards each week, Binance Square will update your weekly performance on the promotion page by the following Thursday at 23:59 (UTC). 

On the promotion page, you can view: 

• Total rewards earned.
• Reward amount, commission ratio, ranking, qualified trading volume (by spot (including margin), futures, and convert), qualified traders from the previous week.
• Rewards and qualified traders earned for each qualified piece of content.

This gives you a comprehensive view of your rewards status and progress.

11. Am I eligible to receive commissions from my own transactions on Binance?

No, Binance Square creators will not be eligible to earn any trading fee commissions from their own Spot, Margin, Futures and/or Convert trade(s).

12. I have made many posts but haven’t earned any rewards yet. Why is that?

“Write to Earn” rewards are based on how many readers directly trade through your content, not on viewership or engagement metrics like likes, shares, or comments. Simply posting frequently does not guarantee rewards.

13. Will I receive commission if my referrals trade via my content?

Trades made by users who sign up through any referral codes/links (including Referral Lite and Pro), whether yours or others’, will not generate commission under the “Write to Earn” promotion. However, this does not affect your referral commission. You will continue to earn referral commissions from users who register via your referral code or link.

We encourage you to post quality content on Binance Square to engage your referrals and followers. Binance Square is an excellent tool that offers many features to help you maintain and strengthen your relationship with your referrals, fostering loyalty and deeper connections.

You can earn up to 50% referral commission on trades from your referrals, and up to 50% “Write to Earn” commission on non‑referral trades driven by your content.

14. Can I earn rewards from both “Write to Earn” and other campaigns on Binance Square for the same content?

No, rewards from the “Write to Earn” program are mutually exclusive with rewards from other Binance Square campaigns. Specifically, any content linked to CreatorPad activities will be excluded from this promotion, as participants in CreatorPad receive rewards preferentially from the CreatorPad incentive pool.

15. Who is ineligible to participate or receive any rewards from this promotion?

• Illegally bulk registered accounts or sub-accounts are not eligible to participate.
• If an account breaches the Community Guidelines or Binance Square Terms of Use eligibility to reward may be canceled.
• Binance reserves the right to immediately disqualify any participants showing signs of fraudulent, dishonest, or abusive activities, including but not limited to wash trading, bulk account registrations, self-dealing, market manipulation, using the same or related IP addresses or devices, exhibiting fund linkage between accounts, posting low-quality content, relying on a fixed group of readers to trade across one or multiple settlement periods to earn rewards, and any other activities related to unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes. Furthermore, Binance reserves the right to take appropriate measures against any attempted or confirmed fraudulent behavior, whether carried out manually or through technical means, including revoking rewards and participation eligibility.
• Binance reserves the right to disqualify any participants who, in its reasonable opinion, are acting fraudulently or not in accordance with any applicable terms and conditions.
