There is a moment in every technological shift when the experiment ends and the standard begins. In the early years of stablecoins, everything felt tentative. Tokens were created, moved around exchanges, and used mostly inside the crypto ecosystem as a faster instrument of settlement and trading. But something changed when stablecoin volumes began to exceed the scale of traditional remittance markets, and when wallets holding stablecoins crossed into the hundreds of millions. It was no longer an object of speculation or niche efficiency. Stablecoins became a global financial medium.
What happens when the money layer outgrows the networks that support it? It begins to search for new rails. It requires a network where settlement finality, compliance routing, issuer interoperability, and liquidity clearing function as a single continuum.
