1. Full Conversion of SAFU Fund
Binance has completed the full conversion of its Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU) assets, worth $1 billion, into Bitcoin (BTC). Previously, a large portion of this fund was held in stablecoins. With the final purchase of 4,545 BTC today, the total holdings of the fund now stand at 15,000 BTC. Binance stated that they are placing more trust in Bitcoin as a long-term reserve.
2. New Listings & Airdrops
* Espresso (ESP) Listing: Binance will launch Espresso (ESP) spot trading pairs tonight at 9:00 PM (Beijing Time).
* Binance Alpha Box: Binance has launched a new airdrop model called 'Alpha Box.' This allows users to claim tokens from multiple projects simultaneously. The initial list includes BTG, ARTX, and NAORIS tokens.
3. Futures Trading Update
Starting today at 15:00 (UTC+8), Binance has begun converting AZTECUSDT pre-market contracts into standard perpetual contracts. Additionally, the tick sizes for several USDⓈ-M Futures contracts have been updated.
