MACD = Moving Average Convergence Divergence
In a nutshell: Look at trend strength + find buy/sell signals

It consists of 3 components:

1. DIF (Fast Line)

2. DEA (Slow Line)

3. MACD Bars (Red and Green Bars)

You just need to remember 4 practical usages (most useful for trading coins):

1. Golden Cross = High probability of rising
Fast line crosses above the slow line → Bullish signal

2. Death Cross = High probability of falling
Fast line crosses below the slow line → Bearish signal

3. Red bar length increases = Rising momentum is getting stronger
Red bar shortens = Rise is stalling

4. Green bar length increases = Falling momentum is getting stronger
Green bar shortens = Fall is stalling

Simple mnemonic:

• More red bars, golden cross → Bullish

• More green bars, death cross → Bearish

• Divergence (Price reaches new high/low, but MACD does not follow) → Easy to reverse

ETH Market Trend Analysis 2.12
ETH is oscillating near the resistance level of 1980. Although there are signs of stabilization in the short term, the trading volume is very weak, so its rise cannot be sustained. The volume and price can indicate our next trend.
Short at around 1980, stop loss at 2000, take profit near 1920. If it breaks 2000 and is accompanied by increased volume, then the price will oscillate back to the 2000-2150 range.
If the price breaks below 1880, then look for 1850 and 1800. We can take profit on half of our short position and leave the other half to continue running. $ETH
