😒 Binance Exchange is still trying to clean up its reputation after the cryptocurrency market crash on October 10…
According to the company, the market collapsed due to a combination of factors:
• Macroeconomic shock and a sharp shift of markets into risk-off mode.
• Record leverage and cascading liquidations.
• Algorithms of market makers that reduced liquidity.
• Overloading of the Ethereum network, which slowed down arbitrage and transfers.
Binance specifically emphasizes that:
• 75% of all liquidations of the day occurred before the depegging of prices (#USDe, #WBETH, and #BNSOL).
• The main systems of the exchange did not stop.
• The cause of the collapse was a "systemic macro effect," not platform issues.
At the same time, the company acknowledged two of its own incidents:
1. Slowing down of internal transfers between Spot, Earn, and Futures.
2. Failures in the indices of several tokens against the backdrop of thin liquidity.

In recent weeks, I increasingly catch myself thinking that Plasma is not just another "hype project," but a story about infrastructure and patience. What this means:

▪️ Data collection starts in advance, even before the official launch.
▪️ The goal is to combat tax evasion and money laundering.
▪️ Another 27 countries will join later, starting in 2028.
▪️ Among the jurisdictions: most EU countries, the USA, UAE, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and others.
According to TaxBit (a company developing tax software for the crypto market), this data may eventually be used not only for tax reporting but also for identifying owners of crypto assets.
