@rumour.app Based on historical data, the "Rumor Warning Calendar" feature is launched to help users anticipate periods of high rumor activity and prepare for prevention.
Analyzing the spread of rumors over the past 2 years, it was found that "New Exchange Listing Day", "Token Unlock Period", and "Before and After Major Industry Conferences" are periods of high rumor activity.
In a certain exchange, the number of rumors about "A Certain Token is About to be Listed" will increase 3 times in the 3 days before the monthly listing; one week before a large token unlock, the proportion of rumors stating "The Project Party Will Dump" reaches 60%.
The warning calendar will be updated at the beginning of each month with "High-Risk Dates", marking the types of rumors that may become prevalent, and sending reminders to users 3 days in advance.
Users reported that by knowing in advance through the calendar that "there might be positive rumors about ETH before a certain conference," they went to the platform to verify as soon as they saw related news during the conference, avoiding losses from chasing highs.
After this feature was launched, the proportion of users engaging in "blindly believing rumors" during peak periods decreased by 32%.
