A recent study conducted by Oxford University has raised concerns about the reliability of AI chatbots in providing personal medical advice. According to NS3.AI, the research evaluated AI models from OpenAI, Meta, and Cohere, revealing that these advanced systems performed no better than traditional self-diagnosis methods. Experts stress that while AI can be beneficial in supportive roles, such as transcribing and summarizing medical consultations, it should not replace physicians in delivering medical advice.
