Now that’s a true dream job waking up sleepy otters in the U.S.
In shelters and zoos, animals follow strict feeding and medical check schedules. Because of their sensitive and playful nature, otters have to be woken up very gently no sudden movements or loud noises to avoid stress or aggression.
If an otter isn’t woken up on time, the staff may end up spending hours trying to get it back to sleep in the evening.
