The Hong Kong Stock Exchange has announced the appointment of Jalal Almarhoon, a former senior executive at BNP Paribas, as Managing Director and Chief Representative for the Middle East. According to Ming Pao, Almarhoon assumed his role on February 10 and will be based at the newly established Riyadh office in Saudi Arabia. He will report to Xu Jingwei, the Head of Global Listing Services at the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
