The number of different cryptocurrencies in existence has surged since 2023, with some 38.87 million different tokens currently in existence.

This is by no means a positive milestone, with the cryptocurrency market already way over-saturated.

To some, token launch platforms and their rise has made it far too simple to launch a token, many of which have no value whatsoever.
