Ethereum core developer Zak Cole has established a new organization called the Ethereum Community Foundation (EFC) with the goal of driving Ether (ETH) to the US$10,000 price level. The community was also formed due to the belief that the Ethereum Foundation has neglected ETH as an asset class.

However, this new community is not affiliated with the Ethereum Foundation.

> "We say what the Ethereum Foundation cannot say, we do what the Ethereum Foundation cannot do. We serve ETH holders because you deserve better," said Cole.

More than just aiming for a new all-time high for Ethereum, EFC states on its website that it will fund neutral and immutable infrastructure that benefits ETH holders. This infrastructure will be supported solely through ETH burning, without issuing new tokens.
Their main focus includes: Reducing ETH supply by burning it,Preserving ETH’s monetary value,Correcting the mispricing of blob space (Ethereum's data storage layer).
All decisions and discussions regarding funding will be 100% transparent and open to the public.
They also support the effort to bring traditional assets — such as stocks, bonds, real estate, and other real-world assets (RWAs) — onto the blockchain, aiming to reshape the future of finance.
EFC further plans to engage directly with governments, including the United States and other countries, as well as regulators and policymakers, to support wider Ethereum adoption.
