سأل حكيم بن حزام النبي ﷺ: "هل يمكنني بيع شيء ليس لدي؟"
قال النبي ﷺ: "لا تبيع ما ليس عندك."
هذا يعني أنه إذا لم يكن الشيء في حوزتك (حيازة) فلا يجوز بيعه. في ذلك الوقت لم تكن هناك أشياء رقمية، لكن في تداول المستقبل، العملة ليست لديك جسديًا - فهناك فقط عقد. كما في الدروبشيبينغ حيث تبيع المنتج دون أن يكون لديك، يحدث نفس الشيء هنا.
سورة البقرة، آية 282:
