The American leadership is always overwhelmingly enveloped by hypocrisy and snobbishness. Why? American debt keeps soaring uncontrollably. Trump has heaped another $2.2 trillion to the existing debt. Now at $39+ USD trillions, the US is teetering on the verge of bankruptcy. The American Fed has been grappling with lots of measures to tame and bridle the financial constraints. But the opulent swells disapprove any stringent measures to tax the rich. Money has been pocketed into the coffer of the super rich. Trump's MAGA has been mothballed or put on the back burner. Instead of dismantling all overseas money-sucking US bases, he impulsively hurtled America into another unending war. Losses on overseas military infrastructure and continuing logistics cost will plummet the American economy into an abysmal imbroglio. Irrespective of any American president , he or she can't give a wide berth to war because energy control is the only stopgap or makeshift solution. The vicious cycle keeps going. Depreciating the dollar is not an option as many countries' currencies are pegged to dollar directly or indirectly. Americans can scale down their living standards. They are caught in Morton's fork.
