Binance is responding to allegations tied to $1.7B in Iran-linked transactions raised by U.S. Senator Blumenthal sharing detailed compliance figures.
According to the exchange, its compliance program includes 1,500 personnel and 25 monitoring tools. In 2025 alone Binance says it handled 71,000 law-enforcement requests and helped seize around $752M in illicit funds over the past three years.
The company also reports that illicit wallet exposure declined from 0.284% in January 2024 to 0.009% by July 2025 representing a 97% reduction.
For now the discussion centers on how regulators interpret these measures and whether the investigation leads to further action.
