Версия «по глупости» звучит так: кто-то просто скопировал пост из X и не учёл, что юзернеймы в X и Telegram отличаются. В итоге официальный канал сам направил аудиторию на поддельный аккаунт.
💸 Дальше классика — переход по ссылке, ввод сид-фразы, ноль на балансе. Сколько именно людей пострадало — неизвестно. Но учитывая статус канала, трафик туда явно пошёл немалый.
Позже бота снесли с плашкой «выдаёт себя за официальный аккаунт». Ирония в том, что основной поток пользователей туда пришёл именно после публикации из официального источника.
😬 На фоне прошлых скандалов вокруг экосистемы вопросы, конечно, остаются. Была ли это халатность или что-то более умышленное — пока открытый вопрос.
