China says we're "pleasing other countries" instead of working with them. But let's talk about what that relationship has actually looked like:
🏟️ The stadium China helped build here became a massive scandal — poor quality, broken promises.
🌊 China was allowed to net fish in our waters for years — devastating to our biodiversity, which is one of our greatest national treasures. Costa Rica holds roughly 3.5% of the world's biodiversity in a country the size of a U.S. state.
And now China wants to act like Costa Rica owes them something?
Costa Rica protecting its digital infrastructure isn't about "pleasing" the U.S. It's about sovereignty. Small nations have every right to make independent decisions without pressure from superpowers — whether that's China OR the United States.
The geopolitical pressure on small countries like ours is real, and it affects everything — including crypto markets and global trust in decentralized systems. This is exactly why Bitcoin and decentralization matter. No small nation should be financially or politically hostage to a superpower.
