I haven’t come across any confirmed news today, but it looks like a major player has been actively scanning the chain, and there’s a possibility that a new token contract is already deployed. Considering the behavior of the “big sister,” it wouldn’t be surprising to see a no-threshold reward distributed to alpha users around the New Year period.

There are also rumors that the previous new project, BTW, could launch in February. At the moment, the unlock time still isn’t visible in the Booster. Looking at the recent $RIVER move with its two-year lockup, and given current market conditions, it may take quite some time before funds become liquid again. Recent Boosters could remain locked for an extended period, so it’s wise to stay mentally prepared.

FOGO — Quick Thoughts

Just sharing some observations. When comparing traditional public chains with $FOGO, the differences are quite clear:

Traditional public chains (e.g., Ethereum, BSC): often slower, more expensive, and prone to congestion. They work fine for passive holding, but for high-frequency trading, slippage can be painful.

$FOGO : designed as a Layer 1 focused on high-frequency trading and blockchain gaming. It reportedly features a ~40ms block time, with testnet throughput reaching up to 136,000 TPS. The team background (Jump Crypto and Morgan Stanley) also adds credibility. This doesn’t look like a short-term hype project — the focus appears to be on genuinely solving speed and performance challenges.

As always, this is just my personal market view — not financial advice.
