Most people think that a good system is one that is always doing something or they like to see a lot of activity like alerts and updates and announcements.

But the best systems are actually the ones that are quiet there are no fixes or emergency patches or sudden changes or the system just keeps working this kind of quiet is not because the system is not doing anything it is because the system is stable and when I think about ROBO and the Fabric Foundation I do not think about how noise the system makes.
I think about how the system can work without anyone needing to fix it new systems are always making noise or the people who run the system have to watch it all the time they have to make new rules all the time and it can be exciting to see all this activity it also means that the system is not very strong.
