U.S. President Donald Trump said that Iran would be “hit very hard” on Saturday, signaling a possible escalation in the ongoing conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran. The warning was posted on Trump’s Truth Social platform, where he suggested that new targets inside Iran could be considered for attack due to what he described as Iran’s “bad behavior.”
Trump indicated that areas and groups not previously targeted might now be under “serious consideration” for destruction. The statement came as the conflict entered its second week, with both sides exchanging missile and drone attacks across the region.
Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian recently said Iran would not surrender, rejecting Trump’s demand for “unconditional surrender.” However, he also apologized to neighboring Gulf countries affected by Iran’s attacks and said Iran would avoid striking them unless they were used to launch attacks against Iran.
The situation remains tense, and global leaders are watching closely as fears grow of a wider Middle East conflict.
