There is, however, an unavoidable structural compromise embedded in this architecture.

Verification layers inevitably introduce friction. Every time a machine action or computational output must be validated across a distributed network, latency increases. Systems that prioritize verification often sacrifice speed. In robotics, where real-time decision-making can be critical, this trade-off becomes particularly significant.

Fabric Protocol therefore operates in a delicate balance between assurance and efficiency. Too much verification, and the system risks slowing down machine interaction. Too little, and the infrastructure begins to resemble the opaque systems it was designed to improve.
