Leverage can increase your profit — but it can also liquidate your account fast.
Here’s how to use leverage safely on Binance.

What Is Leverage?

Leverage means trading with borrowed money.

Example:

  • You have $USDC 10

  • Use 10x leverage

  • You can open a $100 position

If price moves 5%:

  • Profit = 50%

  • Loss = 50%

⚠ Higher leverage = Higher risk.

Use Low Leverage (Best: 3x–5x)

Beginners should NEVER start with 20x or 50x.
Low leverage gives your trade more breathing space.

Risk Only 1–2% Per Trade

If you have $100:

  • Risk only $USDC 1–$USDC 2 per trade
This protects your capital long term.

Always Use Stop Loss

Never trade without stop-loss.
It automatically closes your trade before big loss.

Avoid Overtrading

More trades ≠ more profit.
Wait for strong setups.

Do NOT Trade With Emotions

No revenge trading.
No “all-in” mindset.

Check Liquidation Price

Before entering trade:

  • Look at liquidation level

  • Make sure it’s far from your entry
