Yesterday the story was one thing.
Today, it’s something completely different.
At first, Donald Trump was saying:
“We’re sending ground troops!”
But this morning the message changed:
“No, no… we are not sending ground troops.”
First the claim was:
“It’s a four-day war.”
Then suddenly:
“Actually it may take four weeks.”
And now the latest statement suggests:
“It could take six months.”
In the beginning, the tone was confident:
“We will change the regime.”
Later came the clarification:
“No… regime change is not our goal.”
Then another message appeared directed at the Iranian people:
“Brothers, overthrow the government yourselves!”
And now the line seems to be:
“Bring whoever you want… just don’t bring Khamenei’s son.”
During the last conflict, the claim was:
“We have eliminated Iran’s nuclear capability.”
But now the narrative has shifted again:
“If we hadn’t attacked, they would have built an atomic bomb in two weeks.”
Until yesterday the press conferences were saying:
“We are winning the war.”
And today the tone sounds very different — almost like a prayer:
“Oh Lord, protect me from above and below,
from the right and from the left,
from the front and from the back.”
And quietly:
“This time save me…
I won’t do anything like that again.”
The bigger question people are asking now is simple:
Is this strategy… or confusion?
