🔥Bitcoin falls below $65,000, heading towards its worst decline since the FTX scandal 👀
The price of #bitcoin fell below $65,000 during the afternoon hours, as the wave of selling in other #Criptomonedas intensified, making this Thursday one of the worst days for the sector #cripto .
In the last 24 hours, the price of Bitcoin has dropped more than 12%, reaching a minimum level of $63,000 so far.
February 5 has become one of the worst days in Bitcoin's history, due to the record of the largest daily drop (more than 10%). Something like this hadn't been seen since November 8, 2022, when the collapse of the FTX cryptocurrency exchange caused Bitcoin's price to touch $16,000, after a fall of 14.3% that day.
The crypto sector is not the only one suffering these declines. We also have to mention silver, which fell more than 15% during the day, and is now 40% below the peak price reached a few days ago. The price of gold fell more than 2.8%, but this drop was not as pronounced as silver's.
