Axie Infinity announced the launch of a new token, Bonded AXS (bAXS), which will share utility functions with AXS and serve as the reserve currency. Two rounds of airdrops are planned, targeting AXS stakers and Axie Score holders, with the first airdrop snapshot on February 5. The existing Axie Homeland will be replaced by the new game Terrariums, which will launch its MVP in Q2 2026 and integrate bAXS for earning rewards.
