1. VIXY closed down 5.35%, at 25.28.

2. The three major US indices closed higher. The S&P 500 index rose by 37.41 points, an increase of 0.54%, closing at 6976.44 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 515.19 points, an increase of 1.05%, closing at 49407.66 points. The Nasdaq rose by 130.292 points, an increase of 0.56%, closing at 23592.107 points.

3. Apple rose by 4.04%, Google-A rose by 1.78% breaking new highs, Amazon rose by 1.53%, Meta fell by 1.41%, Microsoft fell by 1.61%, Tesla fell by 1.98%, Nvidia fell by 2.89%.

4. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index closed down 0.65%, at 7681.87 points. Among the popular Chinese concept stocks, Xpeng Motors fell by 8.2%, BYD fell by 6.7%, Pony.ai fell by 4.2%, WeRide fell by 4.1%, Alibaba fell by 0.6%, Pinduoduo rose by 2.3%.

5. TSMC ADR rose by 3.22%, AMD rose by 4.03%. SanDisk continued its strong performance rising by 15.44%, Micron Technology rose by 5.52%, Seagate Technology rose by 6.2%, Western Digital rose by 7.99%.

6. Spot gold fell again by 4.9% on Monday, although it rebounded at one point during the day, it still remained significantly below last week's high. Silver continued to weaken by nearly 7%.
