Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes – February 11th 🌹

February 11th, we celebrate Our Lady of Lourdes, the apparitions of the Immaculate Conception to St. Bernadette Soubirous in 1858.

In a grotto near Lourdes, France, the Blessed Virgin appeared 18 times to 14-year-old Bernadette, identifying herself as “the Immaculate Conception” and asking for penance, prayer for sinners, and a chapel. She directed Bernadette to dig; a healing spring emerged that has produced thousands of documented miracles. The feast commemorates her message of mercy, conversion, and trust in God.

“I am the Immaculate Conception.”

Lourdes graces for the day:

- Pray the Rosary, especially for the sick and sinners.

- Offer a small penance or act of reparation.
