I speak to you from Venezuela. 🇻🇪 I didn't start with an account funded by a bank; I started with less than $1. My strategy was simple: Grain by grain. Every time I could, I put in $1 or $3 from my pocket. Recently, I managed to inject $13 more. Thus, with discipline and patience, I brought my capital close to $40
Have I lost money? Of course. But on this journey, I learned that loss is not your enemy; it’s your best teacher. If you pay attention, it will tell you exactly what to correct.
🧠 Lessons from "Trading in the Zone" (Mark Douglas)
I have been studying this podcast, and there’s something every beginner must understand: The market owes you nothing.
Accept the Risk: If you’re afraid of losing that $1, you’ve already lost. You must accept that any trade has a random outcome.
Think in Probabilities: You don’t need to know what will happen next to make money. You just need a plan and the discipline to follow it.
Zero Emotions: Fear, greed, and anxiety are what empty accounts. As Douglas says: "If your mind is at peace, the market cannot harm you."
🛠️ My Manual for Trading with Low Capital:
Hunt Cheap Altcoins: Don’t look for coins at $100. Focus on projects under $2 or $5. That's where your small capital has strength.
Master Leverage: Use it with respect. Learn to set your TP/SL (Take Profit/Stop Loss) before pulling the trigger.
Use LIMIT Orders: Don’t buy on impulse (Market). Place your order where you want and wait for the market to come to you.
Compound Interest: Don’t look to get rich in a day. Accumulate small gains, reinvest them, and let time work its magic.
🗿 Conclusion: Character over Capital
Even though I got close to $40, today I have a little less, but my mindset is six figures. You don’t need to be an expert in complex charts; you need to be an expert in controlling yourself.
