Thailand's Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul is intensifying efforts to combat gray funds by tightening regulations on gold trading and digital assets. The government will enforce the Travel Rule for digital asset transactions to reduce anonymity and establish a national Data Bureau to monitor financial activities in real time. Additionally, the Anti-Money Laundering Office is instructed to lower the gold transaction reporting threshold and consider new taxes on online gold trading.
