Performance and scalability
Who’s the most efficient?
- @WalrusProtocol: scales efficiently to thousands of storage nodes, uses erasure coding to minimize redundancy, reducing replication costs by 80-100x compared to competitors
- @Filecoin: complex setup, requires high redundancy to maintain security, which increases storage overhead
- @ArweaveEco: permanent storage model ensures historical data is immutable, but massive network-wide replication leads to high costs and inefficiencies
$WAL is the most efficient, requiring just 4-5x redundancy instead of 500x like $AR, making it far more scalable and cost-effective.
