President Trump accused President Petro of involvement in drug smuggling and stated that Colombia is under the rule of a person who sells cocaine to the United States.

Colombia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected threats or the use of force, stating that dialogue, cooperation, and mutual respect among nations are the solutions to problems.
