Walrus Protocol (@@Walrus 🦭/acc ) is one of the most noteworthy on-chain data infrastructure projects at the current stage. What I highly appreciate about Walrus is its focus on solving the decentralized data storage problem, enabling better data security, transparency, and independence from traditional centralized systems.
With the rapid development of Web3, the demand for secure and verifiable data storage is growing. Walrus aims to provide an optimized on-chain data storage solution, supporting future blockchain applications, DeFi, and NFTs. This adds a crucial infrastructure component to the Web3 ecosystem. Token $WAL plays a central role in the Walrus ecosystem, used for networking activities, encouraging participants, and maintaining long-term stability. If the team continues to develop according to the roadmap and expands the ecosystem, Walrus has the potential to become an important data layer in Web3.
