Starting from September 17, Binance Wallet will start charging fees.
Students who previously used the wallet to transact Binance Alpha can transfer their transactions to CEX.
The fee standard for Binance Wallet on Alpha tokens is up to 0.01%. If previously, the daily transaction amount was 16500, it means a fee of 3.3 U will be charged, along with a loss of 3.3 U, making it less cost-effective, so it's better to return to CEX!
There may be several impacts, as I guess, and I hope they won't happen:
- A large number of users will transfer from the wallet to CEX to transact Binance Alpha;
- The weekly returns from the KOGE wallet trading competition will no longer be cost-effective;
- CEX's Alpha is also based on on-chain LP transactions, not order book trading, so it shouldn't have a significant impact on the pool, but still be cautious of the risks of token LP removal leading to price declines;
- Currently, it is uncertain whether the transaction fees on the CEX side will be adjusted.
