American political turbulence is back 😁 This time again due to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)

🗓 What is at stake! The temporary funding for DHS expires on February 13, 2026.

😑 Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer stated that Democrats are ready to block the continuation if the document does not include reforms regarding ICE (the already well-known Immigration and Customs Enforcement)

💡 I want to remind you that the first shutdown lasted 43 days in the fall of 2025, and the second partial one was from January 31 to February 3, 2026.

Every time for the crypto market this meant nothing good, it was falling down, and with the sentiments that currently prevail in the market, every wrong move is like dynamite😡

Reason for the conflict, who and what does one want?😁

It's all about and around ICE, the Democrats want restrictions and reforms, the Republicans are against funding cuts. The White House responded to the Democrats' proposals with a one-page document 🤣 this only poured oil on the fire 🔥

🔍 Next week Congress goes on break due to Presidents' Day (an interesting holiday for them) so there is little time left to reach an agreement.

To calm myself, I want to say that this is not a full shutdown since most agencies are already funded, so the question is only about DHS. We have already seen political shows in the USA so let's hope it won't shake too much.

💬 The shutdown itself is not scary for the crypto market, what is worse is that the market reacts to media noise, creating media panic and "someone" is using the market's volatility to their advantage🤷‍♂️
