Government stablecoins are issued by central banks and are fully backed by the national currency. KGST from the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan is 1 KGST = 1 Kyrgyz som, 100% reserve in soms, issuance is strictly under the control of the regulator. It is used for domestic and cross-border payments.
