Genesis Mission is a strategic initiative of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) along with its 17 National Laboratories to create an integrated platform of #IA scientific research at a large scale.

Its goal is to harness the largest federal scientific datasets in the world, exascale supercomputers, advanced AI systems, quantum computing, and unique government experimental facilities.

The aim is to double the productivity and impact of U.S. research and development in 10 years, accelerating discoveries in critical areas. The program seeks to develop foundational scientific models, AI agents capable of automating workflows (formulating hypotheses, designing experiments, and analyzing results), and a closed-loop experimentation platform where AI simulates, experiments, and continuously improves.

Genesis Mission addresses key national challenges such as biotechnology, advanced manufacturing, critical materials, nuclear energy (fission and fusion), quantum computing, semiconductors, and energy security.

The project is integrated through the American Science and Security Platform and includes public-private partnerships with companies like NVIDIA and Oracle, as well as universities. The Genesis Mission Consortium was launched in February 2026.

It is currently in the initial phase and does not seek to replace scientists but to multiply their capacity and reduce discoveries from years to months. $BTC $RENDER $FET
