The MBTI 16 personality types should be familiar to everyone. Are you curious about what your on-chain personality is?
I tested myself on x.com/CalculusFinance and found that I'm the DBTS on-chain patriarch, "a thoughtful old-money type of investor, firmly believing in compound interest and self-custody." Who would have thought that was the case?
In this model, D/C represents ideology, B/A represents asset preference, T/N represents thinking, and V/S represents behavior style. Following this model, what's most interesting besides "who am I" is guessing what type others are, just like we usually guess if friends are I people/E people, P people/J people.
For example, when faced with @CZ , many people would instinctively categorize my cousin as D: an on-chain fundamentalist, believing in contracts, and advocating for decentralization. But if you seriously look back at his key choices over the years, it’s hard to overlook the C traits in him; he resembles someone who, on top of a decentralized ideal, uses centralized efficiency and risk control as a safety net. Overall, I guess my cousin's on-chain personality is CBTS treasury manager, "the family treasury administrator, emphasizing control of drawdowns, risk control first."
Looking at sister @Yi He, the labels on her are more easily underestimated. The outside world often summarizes her as an "executor," but from her grasp of rhythm, structure, and risk boundaries, the T + V foundation is very obvious, and she uses S to dampen volatility. She rarely gets pushed by narratives and doesn't resemble A or N; she seems more like someone who finds optimal solutions under real-world constraints. It’s a bit hard to guess, but if I must, I think she is a CANV airdrop nomad, "the most optimistic realist in the crypto world, constantly wandering, going through ups and downs, but always on the road, cutting through thorns and brambles."
This is quite interesting. I heard that Calculus has opened up this pattern; they are not only creating DBTI for us to play with but are also building an AI Agent Gateway. Simply put, these labels will be the "language" that AI can understand in the future. We won’t need to stare at screens anymore; AI Agents can help us find and execute on-chain opportunities that align with our intentions by recognizing these DBTI labels. This is the next stage of DeFi, evolving from capturing human attention to capturing Agent attention.
I wonder if my guesses are accurate. What do you all think?
