Canadian star 'Drake' suffered another loss in the world of cryptocurrency after betting on the outcome of the Super Bowl, adding a new chapter to a series of unsuccessful bets that have followed him over the past years.
The Super Bowl took place on February 8 at Levi's Stadium, featuring the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots, in the most bet-attractive sporting event in the United States.
'Drake' revealed on his Instagram account that he bet one million dollars worth of Bitcoin on the 'New England Patriots' to win.

According to the odds that reached 2.95, he could have made a profit of nearly two million dollars from Bitcoin, but the outcome was the opposite, after 'Seattle' clinched the title with a 29-13 win.
This loss is not the first of its kind.
In 2022, 'Drake' lost more than 600,000 dollars worth of Bitcoin after betting on Arsenal to win against Leeds United, and Barcelona in the 'El Clasico' match against Real Madrid, a match that ended with the Catalan club's loss.
At the beginning of 2024, he bet about 700,000 dollars worth of Bitcoin on UFC fighter 'Sean Strickland' to win, but he lost the bet after a split decision in favor of 'Drikus Du Plessis.'
He also later made a high-stakes bet of 300,000 dollars worth of Bitcoin on the Canadian national football team's victory over Argentina, with odds close to 10 to 1, but the Argentine team, led by Lionel Messi, won the match 2-0, adding another loss to the singer's record.
This long series of losing bets has led to what is known online as the 'Drake Curse,' a popular joke that the team or player publicly supported by 'Drake' often ends up losing.
