ARK transferred 17 million dollars to the Bullish platform while reducing its investments in the Coinbase platform.
Major investors maintain their investments in cryptocurrencies while diversifying their investment portfolios.
ARK Invest, led by Cathie Wood, has adjusted its position in cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds, buying around 716,000 shares of Bullish, valued between 17 and 18 million dollars, while selling 119,000 shares of Coinbase, valued at approximately 17.4 million dollars. These trades were executed through three exchange-traded funds: ARK Innovation ETF, ARK Next Generation Internet ETF, and ARK Fintech Innovation ETF.
Reasons for optimistic investment
The company continues to record losses, but its stock price rose after achieving profits that exceeded expectations through the Bullish fund. The company's sales jumped by about 68% compared to last year, and trading activity remained strong despite market volatility. Bullish shares have also recently dropped, making them cheaper.
Coinbase still represents the largest share in Ark's funds even after the selling process. Ark believes that growth may be stronger in other sectors in the near term, and that diversifying investments reduces risks. Therefore, the company has started to cut back on its investments instead of taking a radical step.
The Ark restructuring strategy indicates that the company still believes in cryptocurrencies, but it seeks to diversify its investments. Instead of investing in a single company, it distributes its investments across several companies in the infrastructure sector. This change comes immediately after the drop in Bitcoin prices, and the fluctuations in the stock prices of trading platforms accordingly. It seems that Ark is adjusting its investment position without abandoning the sector.
If Bullish continues to achieve revenue acceleration, it may see additional inflows into its shares, and market watchers will observe whether other asset managers will follow Ark's lead. For now, Ark's move highlights a fundamental fact in the current cycle: that trust in cryptocurrencies remains strong, but capital is being deployed more selectively.$GUN
