The TRON mainnet has released the upgraded version GreatVoyage v4.8.1
The TRON development community has recently officially released the mainnet version GreatVoyage-v4.8.1 (Democritus).
This is a mandatory upgrade, developers need to complete the update before 23:59 on March 9, 2026 (Singapore time) to ensure the network is synchronized and operates normally.
The Democritus version focuses on introducing support for ARM64 architecture and JDK 17, significantly expanding the node deployment environment; while adjusting the SELFDESTRUCT command in TVM, fully compliant with Ethereum's EIP-6780 standard, further enhancing cross-ecosystem compatibility.
In terms of the network, this version implements P2P message limits, optimizes synchronization logic and error codes, significantly enhancing the stability and security of the network. Additionally, event services, API capabilities, and configuration governance mechanisms have also been upgraded, continuously improving the developer experience.
