Michael Burry, the legendary investor who predicted the 2008 crisis, warned of the potential domino effects of a Bitcoin correction. According to him, a drastic decline in the crypto market could trigger the liquidation of precious metal positions (such as gold and silver) worth billions of dollars by institutional investors to cover losses.
Burry also stated that Bitcoin has failed to become a safe-haven asset or a substitute for gold, and there are no visible factors that could halt its current decline.
