A user under the nickname HYPE BEAST contacted the content creator and suggested publishing a message that the head of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, is a fraud, and that the exchange is responsible for the crash of digital asset prices. Plus, he was supposed to mention the sale of Aster tokens. As a reward, the blogger was promised to transfer 20,000 USDC stablecoins (USDC), but he refused.

An organized campaign by scammers aimed at scaring clients of Binance started no later than February 3.
