When it comes to the last Binance Traders League, my little heart still races!
At first, I relied on my familiarity with the ETH/USDT trading pair and went all-in on grid trading. Who knew that Mr. Market would teach me a lesson? The DeFi concept suddenly fizzled out, and Ethereum's price plummeted, burying my grid and evaporating my profits in an instant.
It felt like a cooked duck flying away!
After reflecting on the pain, I started to brush up on technical analysis and dug into the RSI indicator. Now I understand that grid trading isn't something where you can just set parameters and rest easy. You need to gauge market sentiment, like an old Chinese doctor, to diagnose and prescribe.
For example, I would combine the RSI indicator to determine if it is oversold. Once it enters the oversold area, I secretly increase the grid density, so I can catch more profits during the rebound. I've also learned to use TradingView's candlestick pattern alerts to spot risks in advance. Last time, it was thanks to a "Morning Star" that I avoided a disaster.
The Traders League is truly a great place that pushes me, as an old novice, to keep learning. For the next competition, I plan to try spot copy trading. I've heard that there are hidden experts in Binance Square, with many skilled individuals; their strategies must have unique insights. Of course, I will carefully study their historical data to see profit rates and drawdown rates, and choose one that suits me. After all, only I know how comfortable someone else's shoes are on my feet.
The journey in the crypto world is truly about crossing the river by feeling the stones. Fellow crypto enthusiasts, let us continuously learn and progress together in the Traders League, striving to achieve financial freedom as soon as possible!
