The task approval period for Season 7 of the Guild Advancement Program (GAP) has officially ended, marking one of the most innovative iterations of the program to date. Season 7 of GAP has introduced a series of new games worth exploring, a revamped reward system, and returning team task opportunities, allowing task participants to experience new forms of the program.

This cycle runs from September 30 to November 4. With the new GAP reward system adopted, YGG's task approval process spans the entire season, allowing task completers to claim rewards at any time before the season ends.

A warm welcome to the latest games in GAP

The number of games in GAP Season 7 has increased from 8 to 11, featuring some of the most popular games among players.

Arena of Faith, Blade of God X, Mystery Society, and Sipher Odyssey made their debut in GAP, while Nine Chronicles, Parallel, Pixels, and Rumble Racing Star returned from Season 6. Classic early GAP games like Axie Infinity, GensoKishi Online, and Mighty Action Heroes also made a strong comeback.

A total of 47,964 people signed up for tasks this season, with 8,213 participating. The participation rate for GAP tasks remains high, with over 39,000 tasks submitted.

Sipher Odyssey took the lead in its GAP debut with 8,545 task registrations, followed closely by Mystery Society with 8,532 tasks and Arena of Faith with 6,910 tasks.

Guild participation is also high, with over 200 guilds involved in the program. In the global guild championship series of tasks, YGG rewarded 22 of the most active guilds. This includes 12 Level 1 guilds, each with at least 20 members completing 5 tasks; 4 Level 2 guilds, with over 50 members completing at least 5 tasks; and 6 guilds reaching Level 3 of the global guild team task, with over 100 guild members successfully completing 5 or more tasks during the season.

Bringing AI bounties to newcomers

Out of a total of 8,213 participants, 46% chose to participate in at least one non-game task. This includes AI bounties from Sapien, Navigate, and FrodoBots, as well as the YGG game tester program and guild alliance tasks.

Newbie tasks have been introduced as a new category, allowing newcomers to directly earn YGG tokens as rewards for completing specific tasks, helping them start their journey in the YGG ecosystem. Adventurers can then use these tokens to claim the GAP season pass and participate in advanced tasks, or use tokens to boost reward multipliers when converting points.

These newbie tasks include Global Creators, Global Guilds, YGG Regions and Partners, and Welcome to YGG tasks, with a total of 3,028 task participants taking their first step into the YGG ecosystem.

Advanced tasks, inflation factors, and exploration reward center

1,443 players purchased the season pass for 25 YGG to maximize their chances of receiving rewards.

The season pass has opened advanced tasks for Arena of Faith, GensoKishi Online, Mighty Action Heroes, Mystery Society, Nine Chronicles, Parallel, and Pixels.

In a significant update for Season 7, YGG has streamlined the process for claiming rewards through the reward center. To achieve this, the YGG team moved the task approval process to take place during the season instead of waiting until the season ended.

This change allows task completers to earn points more quickly, enabling them to undertake tasks on the reward map. Adventurers can use their points to unlock a series of reward nodes, including YGG, RON, and PIXEL tokens, as well as NFTs like Axies or the Nyang set from Ragnarok: Monster World.

In addition to this new reward claiming system, 'The Stake House' has been launched, which is a unique active staking platform designed to make adventures through GAP more meaningful. When exchanging points for tokens in the 'Reward Center', YGG token holders on Ronin can earn multiplier rewards. The more YGG tokens earned, the higher the multiplier, up to 3.5 times.

So far, over 340,000 YGG tokens have been invested, allowing more than 900 players to increase their earnings when claiming tokens at the reward center. As GAP Season 8 fully unfolds, returning adventurers will build on the successes of Season 7 and tackle new challenges alongside current and future guild partners.
